Elaine L. Jacobson Ph.D., Co-founder of Niadyne Pharma serves as Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Jacobson holds a Ph.D. degree in
biochemistry and is a Fellow of the American College of Nutrition. She also completed postdoctoral training in cell and molecular biology. She has been a University professor since 1977, directing a research team interested in the fundamental
mechanisms of cell growth control and cancer. Highly competitive federal grants and private funding have continuously funded her pioneering research on the functions of niacin and NAD in DNA repair. She has published more than 100 articles
based on this research in prestigious journals such as Science, Cancer Research, and The Journal of Biological Chemistry. Dr. Jacobson is currently Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the
University of Arizona College of Pharmacy and a member of the Arizona Cancer Center. Dr. Jacobson has held leadership roles in numerous national
and international functions including that as an organizer of international meetings on NAD functions in DNA repair, a committee member for the National Legislative Committee of the American Association for Cancer Research and a member
